Download your supplies : Paint Shop Pro files - PhotoShop files

Open the downloaded file fleur_alpha.psp. Duplicate (Shift + D) and close the original. Save the new file.

For this tutorial, we need :

- 4 colors for the outline :
Stalk and leaves : color 1
petals : color 2
heart : color 3
dots : color 4

- 7 patterns 3x3 to fill the differents zones of the flower :
2 patterns for the leaves (t1a and t1b)
3 patterns for the petals (t2a, t2b and t2c)
2 patterns for the heart of the flower (t3a and t3b).

Choose your own colors.
For the pattern, I give it with the supplies to download.
Copy it 7 times and change the colors to harmonize the zones. Zoom in several times.

You can fill the layer fond / background to make it easier for you to work.

Click at each time on the layer whose we load the alpha channel.

I work with PSP 9.

Fill with the pattern t1a.

- Layer feuilles b/ leaves b -

Selections > Load/save a selection > Load from a Alpha channel.
Choose feuilles b/ leaves b.
Fill with the pattern t1b.

- Layer contour feuilles / outline leaves -

Selections > Load/save a selection > Load from a Alpha channel.
Choose contour feuilles / outline leaves.
Fill with the color 1.

- Layer pétales a / petals a -

Selections > Load/save a selection > Load from a Alpha channel.
Choose pétales a / petals a.
Fill with the pattern t2a.

- Layer pétales b / petals b -

Selections > Load/save a selection > Load from a Alpha channel.
Choose pétales b / petals b.
Fill with the pattern t2b.

- Layer pétales c / petals c -

Selections > Load/save a selection > Load from a Alpha channel.
Choose pétales c / petals c.
Fill with the pattern t2a.

- Layer contour pétales / outline petals -

Selections > Load/save a selection > Load from a Alpha channel.
Choose contour pétales / outline petals.
Fill with the color 2.

- Layer coeur a / heart a -

Selections > Load/save a selection > Load from a Alpha channel.
Choose coeur a / heart a.
Fill with the pattern t3a.

- Layer coeur b / heart b -

Selections > Load/save a selection > Load from a Alpha channel.
Choose coeur b / heart b.
Fill with the pattern t3b.

- Layer contour coeur / outline heart -

Selections > Load/save a selection > Load from a Alpha channel.
Choose contour coeur / outline heart.
Fill with the color 3.

- Layer points / dots -

Selections > Load/save a selection > Load from a Alpha channel.
Choose points / dots.
Fill with the color 4.

You're done.
You can now personalize your work as you want.
